This Privacy Policy explains how DoraPDF ("we", "us", "our"), available at dorapdf.com, handles information when you use our website and tools. DoraPDF is operated by Phyntx, Pakistan.
1. Your files stay on your device
DoraPDF's tools run inside your web browser. When you convert, compress, merge, scan, edit or otherwise process a file, the processing happens on your own device. Your files are not uploaded to or stored on our servers, and we cannot see their contents. When you close or refresh the page, the files are gone from the tool.
Some tools load helper code (open-source software libraries) from trusted content delivery networks such as cdnjs.cloudflare.com and cdn.jsdelivr.net. These providers receive standard technical information (such as your IP address) needed to deliver the code, but they never receive your files.
2. Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email address or phone number unless you contact us yourself.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which tools are popular, which pages are visited, the approximate country and the type of device and browser. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and processes data such as your IP address, which Google may truncate. We use this information only in aggregate to improve DoraPDF. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.
3. Cookies and local storage
- Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics, as described above.
- Advertising cookies — see section 4.
- Local storage in your browser to remember simple preferences such as light/dark theme and sound effects. This information never leaves your device.
You can delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings.
4. Advertising
We may display advertisements served by Google AdSense to keep DoraPDF free.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK), we will ask for your consent before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used.
5. Children
DoraPDF is a general-audience website and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Data security
Because files are processed on your device and are not uploaded, the risk to your documents is minimal. Our website is served over HTTPS with modern security headers.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its processing. As we hold very little personal data, most requests relate to analytics or advertising data held by Google — see the links above. For anything else, contact us at hello@dorapdf.com.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed.
