How to Merge PDF Files into One (Free, No Sign-up)

By the DoraPDF team · 2 min read · Updated 2026-11-06

Need to submit one file but have five? Teachers, employers and visa portals often ask for a single PDF. Here's the fastest way to combine them.

How to merge PDFs

  1. Open the PDF Merger.
  2. Add all your PDF files — you can drop them in together.
  3. Check the order. Files are joined from top to bottom. Remove any you don't need with ✕.
  4. Press Merge PDFs and download merged.pdf.

Merging on a phone

It works the same way on Android and iPhone. Tap the upload box, choose your files from Files, Downloads or Google Drive, and download the merged PDF when it's ready.

Have photos as well as PDFs?

Turn the photos into a PDF first with Images to PDF, then merge that file with the rest. If you photographed paper documents, use Scan to PDF instead — it crops and cleans each page so it looks properly scanned.

Remove pages you don't need

After merging, you might find a blank page or a duplicate. Use Delete PDF Pages to remove pages by number, for example 2, 5-6.

Does merging reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, so text stays sharp and selectable and images keep their original quality.
